Supporting families to stay together is important. But many people do separate. And when this happens, the law can be confusing and it is often difficult to know where to turn.

If you would simply like a one-off consult about what your next steps might be following separation, Family Matters WA provides an hourly consulting service for you to talk through your options such as: whether parenting and/or property mediation is right for you, whether you need to put some safety planning in place if you are concerned about your own or your children’s safety, or whether you and your ex-partner can sort things out yourself without any assistance.

Or you may already know that you want to go ahead with family mediation. If so, we can book you in for your initial session to begin the family mediation process. We mediate all levels of conflict bringing experience and sensitivity to your situation. For some of our clients there is no conflict, and they simply need a neutral 3rd person to help them address all the matters they need to consider. We work also with clients where there are high levels of conflict, taking care at all times to protect your safety and well being.
